Live chat in the shop, replies in GREYHOUND CRM
GREYHOUND Hello Chat for Shopware 6 adds the chat widget of the GREYHOUND live chat solution to your storefront. Visitors get in touch directly, and your team replies where the rest of your customer communication already comes together.
Enquiries from all language and sub-shops arrive in the central GREYHOUND CRM service platform and are handled there by the whole team. No second tool and no additional login.

- Built for multilingual shops: The plugin is multi-client capable and can be used without limit for all language shops.
- Consent taken into account: Since version 3.1.0 an integration for cookie management with Usercentrics is included.

GREYHOUND Hello Chat FAQ
GREYHOUND CRM on your side. The plugin integrates the live chat solution available to GREYHOUND customers. In GREYHOUND, you create an account under Settings → Accounts → Messenger accounts, select GREYHOUND as the gateway provider and Webchat as the messenger. From this account, you take the sender address key and the API key and enter both in the Shopware administration under Settings → Extensions → GREYHOUND Tokens. After validating and saving, you transfer your configuration using the “Send settings to GREYHOUND” button.
You select the plugin configuration per sales channel, so that each channel gets its own texts, colours and settings. A separate messenger account for each channel is advisable so that you can tell the chats apart in GREYHOUND. The enquiries then converge centrally in GREYHOUND CRM and are handled there by your whole team. The plugin is multi-tenant capable and can be used without limit for all sales channels and languages; the number of GREYHOUND users is not restricted.
You set the status to Online, Offline or Auto. With Auto, the chat goes online as soon as an employee is available in GREYHOUND. For the offline state, you define your own labels, status colour and welcome text; by default, it asks for the email address there so that you can reply later. If you wish, you can hide the widget completely when offline; chats that are already open are not affected. If a customer is waiting for a reply in the online chat, up to four automatic messages kick in, for which you define the waiting time in seconds and the text yourself, and each of which can be switched off individually.
You determine the title, logo for desktop and mobile, position in one of the four screen corners including spacing in pixels, and the z-index in case elements overlap. Colours can be set separately for the chat window, chat button, and incoming and outgoing messages, each also for the mouseover state. You also decide on which shop pages the chat appears, whether the name of your employees from GREYHOUND, only their initials or a uniform company name is displayed, and you enter the link to your privacy policy. The widget is only displayed once the visitor has accepted the relevant cookies, via “Accept all cookies”, via the convenience function in the Shopware cookie notice or via Usercentrics, provided you enter the cookie stored there in the plugin.
