Product information "Contract Management for Shopware 6"
Manage contracts digitally in Shopware – central, transparent, efficient
The Contract Management plugin for Shopware 6 handles your contract processes digitally: contracts are created and managed centrally in the Shopware admin and are available to your customers directly in their customer account.
Instead of distributing contract documents via email, folder structures or external tools, you manage everything in one place – including versions, revisions and individual PDF output. The result: fewer manual steps, greater transparency and a professional contract process for your team and your customers.
Your benefits with the Contract Management plugin
- Less effort: create, manage and find contracts – centrally in the Shopware admin, without switching systems.
- Fewer enquiries: customers can access their contracts themselves at any time in the customer account (e.g. terms and conditions, framework agreements, service agreements).
- More traceability: changes and versions are cleanly documented – transparent for internal processes.
- Fits your processes: custom contract types for B2B/B2C, services, maintenance, SLA and more.
- Output in your style: individual PDF settings – flexibly designed to match your corporate identity.

Contract Management
Learn more about the Contract Management plugin by SYNERGY NETWORKS.
You define the types yourself. Enter them in the plugin configuration, separated by semicolons, for example DPA, TOM, maintenance contract or leasing contract. When you create a contract under Content → Contract Management, they are available for selection; title and type are mandatory. Please note: the options of a contract, such as whether customers must accept it, whether revisions are kept and whether a special customer assignment applies, cannot be changed after it has been created.
By default, all shop customers receive the contract. With the special customer assignment, you instead select individual customers via a selection field; filters by customer number, name and company help you search. In the customer account, a “Contracts” menu item appears with the title, current revision, status and the time of the last view, plus the contract as a PDF. The customer confirms by clicking “Accept”; until then, the contract counts as unconfirmed. All confirmations are collected under Content → Accepted Contracts, with company, customer number, name, and contract and revision.
In that case, you create a new revision and enter the changes as bullet points. A contract only becomes visible once its first revision has been published. Published revisions can be neither changed nor deleted; every adjustment is made through a further revision, so the history remains traceable. When there is a new revision, the customer account shows a clear notice including the changes compared with the previous version, and all revisions can be downloaded as PDFs in the overview.
In the PDF settings, you specify the file name, business logo and the prefix and suffix of the file name, plus the layout with A4 portrait format, title display, optional header and footer, and page numbering. Your business details (address, contact, tax data, bank details and management) are added once. A preview shows the result; if mandatory details are missing, the notice “Missing PDF settings” points this out. In the contract text, the placeholders SYN_Date for the date and SYN_User for the recipient data are available, whereby SYN_User is only resolved in the customer account. You save the contract text once per language, or you deactivate the language in question.
