Pickware Becomes the Shopware ERP System

With the products from the manufacturer Pickware, three new items have made their way into our online shop this week. Now, in addition to the Shopware editions, the premium plugins, and our own content and programming services, we also offer the products Pickware Mobile, Pickware POS, and the barcode scanner case for iPhones.

We are thrilled by the great possibilities that arise with Pickware and would therefore like to introduce the products in more detail.

Pickware – ERP Directly in Shopware

The days when the shop system and external ERP system behaved like cat and mouse are a thing of the past with Pickware. Because unlike a conventional ERP system, Pickware works directly with the Shopware data.

In short: data synchronization is no longer necessary, Pickware is fully integrated into Shopware. Or: Pickware makes Shopware itself into an ERP system. To achieve this, the Shopware backend – and thus the familiar foundation for all shop operators – is expanded with the corresponding functions.

The Shopware data forms the basis, so there are no issues with different data sets.

Pickware Mobile Makes You Mobile

But Pickware can do much more! With the app-based solution Pickware Mobile, processes can be optimized directly in the warehouse and when shipping items. All you need is an iPhone, a professional barcode scanner case from Pickware, and the Pickware shipping app, and you're ready to go.

On the device, all items ready for shipping are displayed in a digital picking list with stock, variant, and storage location. Express deliveries are specially highlighted. After the employee scans the product's barcode with the iPhone, the invoice receipt and the shipping label are printed automatically.

Once the product is packaged, the package is scanned for the last time, and then, also automatically, a shipping email including a tracking code is sent to the customer.

With the Pickware warehouse app, processes in the warehouse, for example in goods receipt, can be considerably simplified. Viewing open deliveries, managing stock levels and storage locations, and paperless inventory – all of this is easily done with the barcode scanner.

All these processes are of course recorded in the Shopware backend and ensure an automatic reconciliation, for example of stock levels.

Another advantage of Pickware is the point-of-sale app, which enables selling at trade fairs or in a retail store directly from the online shop. With the barcode scanner case, even EC and credit card payments are no longer a problem. The stock levels are automatically updated directly in Shopware – so there is no overselling.
